Julia and Aidan McDonald who own and run Church Bridge Stores and Bruton’s Post Office in Somerset have been recognised with the High Sheriff’s Special Recognition Award for ‘outstanding contribution to the community in Somerset and acts of thoughtfulness and kindness during the coronavirus pandemic of 2020’.
Julia, Aidan and their fantastic team have stayed open for the duration of the pandemic whilst providing a much-needed delivery service to over 150 homes.
The Bruton Post Office is renowned among locals as being a friendly and sociable hub which always offers support to the local community.
